East Coast Gravel
This event is the perfect blend of unknown roads, stunning vistas and the crunch of gravel underneath your tyres.
Two distances are available in 2026:
- 74km MTB ride from Manuka Creek to Cheviot via Motunau - with 1100m of elevation gain.
- 118km MTB loop ride from Cheviot to Motunau and back - with 1600m of elevation gain.
A separate category is available for e-bikes.
Date: Saturday 14th March 2026.
Start Time: 10am. Registrations open at 8.30am.
Location: Cheviot Area School (36 Hall Street, Cheviot). Mini course riders will be transported to the race start location.
Cost: $125 per person for the mini course and $150 per person for the full course. A late fee will apply to entries received from Monday 2nd March 2026.
