Winter Worlds is an iconic road racing series held on the outskirts of Christchurch. It provides all riders years with a simple, safe and fun opportunity to race during winter and have a blast doing it.
The event distance is 44km on a flat easy course. There are entry grades, including two for first-time riders:
- a 28km 'No Drop' where the first half is ridden as a group and a race over the final half of the distance, and
- a 14km development grade - also suitable for those under 15 years.
Dates:
- Sunday 19th and 26th July 2026; and
- Sundays from 2nd to 23rd August 2026.
Start Time: From 2pm. Race briefing at 1.50pm. Register or pick up race number from 1.30pm (location TBC).
Start Location: Springs Road - south of the Collins Road intersection (Lincoln).
Cost: $25 for adults (19 years +) and $15 for juniors (under 19 years).
