Sri Chinmoy Spring Half Marathon

This event is run on a loop around North Hagley Park, with three distances are available:

Half marathon run or walk (15 years +);
10km run or walk (14 years +); and
2.5km race for kids (13 years and under).

Date: Sunday 27th September 2026.
Start Time: 8.30am for the half marathon, and 9am for 10km and kids' events.
Start Location: North Hagley Park by Victoria Lake.
Cost: $40 for half-marathon, $25 for 10km event and $15 for the kids' event. Discounts available for under 20s and over 65s.

Online registrations close at midnight on Friday 25th September 2026. Registrations on the day will cost an additional $5 late fee.

The international Sri Chinmoy Marathon Team is a non-profit organisation conducted by the Sri Chinmoy Centre. The races are held as a service to the running community to promote self-transcendence through sports.
