The Speed Freaks Charitable Trust invites runners and walkers are take part in celebration, memory or support of a loved one experiencing addiction or mental distress.
This event is wheelchair, walking frames and stroller friendly. No scooters, bikes or dogs please.
Date: Sunday 21st September 2025.
Start Time: 10am.
Start Location: Nga Puna Wait Sports Hub (Augustine Drive, Halswell).
Cost: $23 per person (17 years +). 16 years and under FREE. Discount available for Speed Freaks members. A late fee will apply to on-the-day registrations.

50 to 80 perecent of New Zealanders experience mental distress, addiction challenges or both in their lifetime and 1 in 5 people experience mental health and addiction challenges in any given year.
The Speed Freaks Charitable Trust supports recovery from addiction and mental distress through running, walking and community connection. The money raised from this event will help us sustain and further develop their mahi.
