The Hanmer Half Marathon takes competitors on a unique journey through Hanmer Forest among some amazing mountain scenery. You can run or walk, and also compete over a shorter distance of 10.5km.

Date: Saturday 2nd May 2026.
Start Time: Waves start at 8am for the half marathon and 8.45am for the 10.5km event.
Start Location: Hanmer Springs Village Green.
Cost: $120 per person (12 years +) for the half marathon and $90 per person (7 years +) for the 10.5km event.
