Experience the best of Canterbury winter trail running across four stunning locations - each with its own terrain, scenery and character. Every race delivers a new challenge — whether you’re new to trail running or a seasoned athlete chasing your next adventure.
You are welcome to run, walk, or combine both - as long as you can complete the course within the published cut-off times. Team entries are also available.
Three options are available for each event:
- Slope Sprint (5 to 7km);
- Midi Mountains (9 to 12km); and
- Epic Endurance (19 to 23km).
Dates and Locations:
- Sunday 24th May 2026 - Willesden Farms (Kaituna Valley on Bank Peninsula);
- Sunday 14th June 2026 - Mount Cass Station (north of Amberley);
- Sunday 12th July 2026 - Mount Torlesse Station (northeast of Springfield); and
- Sunday 9th August 2026 - Inverary Station (west of Mount Somers).
Start Time: 9am for the Midi Mountains and Epic Endurance events. 10am for the Slope Sprint event. Course briefing is held 10 minutes before each event.
Cost: $40 for juniors (8 to 19 years) and $50 for adults (20 years +) for each event. Participants aged 8 to 12 years can only compete in the Slope Sprint and must be accompanied by a supervising adult.
Discounted entry is available if you sign up for all 4 events before midnight on 12th May 2026.
