Loburn 68 Canterbury Road Relay

This event replaces the historic Takahe-Akaroa Road Relay for 2023. The varied scenic terrain in the Waimakariri District provides many options so that runners can choose what suits them best:

  • The Waimakariri 8: 68K in an 8-person relay (laps from 6.2km to 11.2km per person);
  • The Rakahuri 6: 39K in a 6-person relay (laps from 4.3km to 8.3km per person); and
  • The Kia Kaha 2: 68K in a 2-person relay.

Dates: Saturday 30th September 2023.
Start Time: From 7am.
​Start Location: Loburn Domain (Loburn Whiterock Road, Loburn).
Cost:

  • The Waimakariri 8 and The Kia Kaha: $400 per adult team (20 years +); and
  • The Rakahuri 6: $300 per adult team and $270 per junior team (14 to 19 years).
